...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM AKST MONDAY
THROUGH THOMPSON PASS...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations of
  4 to 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as 80 mph.

* WHERE...Thompson Pass.

* WHEN...Through 9 AM AKST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on hazardous driving conditions. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility to one quarter mile
  or less at times. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 
  below zero overnight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds are likely this
  afternoon and evening and will slowly diminish through Monday 
  morning. They will however remain strong enough to cause severe 
  visibility restrictions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you.If you get stranded, stay
with your vehicle.

  accumulations of 1 to 2 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 
  mph.

* WHERE...Thompson Pass.

* WHEN...Through 9 AM AKST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Plan on hazardous driving conditions. Areas of blowing
  snow are significantly reduce visibility to one quarter mile or
  less at times. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 40 below
  zero continue this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Conditions will improve rapidly by late
  this morning.

THOMPSON PASS...

Winds will remain near 40 mph for the next few hours but reduced
snow rates have cleared the area of blizzard conditions. Localized
drifting and blowing snow will continue through noon today.
