The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Lincoln County in south central Nevada...
  Southeastern Nye County in south central Nevada...

* Until 515 PM PDT.

* At 323 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates between 0.5 and 
  1.5 inch of rain has fallen in this area. Flash flooding of 
  Highway 375 may be beginning or imminent.

  HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water
           crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  mainly rural areas of Western Lincoln and Southeastern Nye Counties

Highway 375 northwest of Rachel between Mile Marker 8 to Mile Marker 
30 could be seeing water flowing over the roadway due to flooded 
washes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you 
can do so safely.
