heavy rain occurring near Moapa along Highway 168 and Hidden
Valley Road. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL CLARK COUNTY...
At 540 PM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing very heavy rain in and around Moapa.
Automated rain gauges have observed 1.38 inches of rain since 5 pm.
The water level is beginning to rise rapidly in the California Wash
2 gauge and has already risen about 2 feet. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Highway 168, 169 and Hidden
Valley Road will all see very heavy rain and likely flash flooding.
Interstate 15 between mile markers 85 and 98 is also included in
this flash flood warning.
HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

have already taken place and numerous roadways are currently
impassable. Flooding will remain possible through midnight.

North Central Clark County in southern Nevada...
* Until midnight PDT.
* At 1022 PM PDT, Moderate rainfall continues to fall over the Flash
Flood Warning area. Ongoing flooding from earlier heavy rainfall
is continuing and expected to slowly improve over the next two
hours. However, rain rates of up to a tenth of an inch per hour
are expected to continue through midnight and slow the improvement
of the flood situation.
HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding ongoing.
