Flood Warning for the following rivers in Florida...

  Manatee River Near Myakka Head at SR 64 affecting Manatee County.

.Heavy rainfall this afternoon and evening has fallen across the 
Manatee River headwaters. As a result, minor flooding is expected 
along the river near Myakka Head.

For the Manatee...including Myakka Head at SR 64...Minor flooding is 
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

  then fall below flood stage Thursday evening.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet, Private road and bridge 1 mile downstream 
  flood. Agricultural, rural Kibler area begins to flood.

.UPDATE...
This has been a rather busy afternoon/evening with showers and
thunderstorms developing along outflow boundaries and almost
stalling over some areas causing urban and small stream flooding.
As a result, multiple flood advisories were issued across Manatee,
Hillsborough, Lee and Charlotte Counties. These will be expiring
over the hour or so as the storm activity winds down.

Overnight, winds will become light and variable with temperatures
staying in the low to mid 70s. Some guidance brings showers and
maybe a thunderstorm or two near the coast as west to northwest
winds set up. Most of the convection will become more widespread
over the interior during the afternoon and evening hours.

Small changes were made to the POPs to reflect current location
of the storms, but otherwise, forecast remains on track.

.AVIATION...
Intermittent MFVR/IFR conditions should improve over the next
hour or so as showers and thunderstorms continue to dissipate.
Thereafter, VFR conditions with light and variable winds will
prevail. There is a chance for some storms to develop early in
the morning near the coast, but confidence is low. Additionally,
there could be some lower ceilings that develop near LAL and
possibly FMY/RSW around 12Z given all of the moisture available
and the lack of winds. Showers and thunderstorms will become more
widespread in the afternoon and evening hours. Gusty winds and
poor visibilities will be possible near storms.

.MARINE...
High pressure will continue to dominate across the waters through
midweek, before a weak cold front approaches the area and stalls
across the northern waters late in the week. Winds may briefly
increase to exercise caution levels during this time, otherwise
they will remain 15 knots or less with seas 3 feet or less through
the period. The only exception may be in the vicinity of thunderstorms
where locally higher winds and seas will be possible.
