Nacogdoches County in eastern Texas...
Southeastern Cherokee County in northeastern Texas...
* Until 400 AM CDT.
* At 1153 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen this evening, with additional
showers and thunderstorms containing heavy rainfall expected to
move north and east across the warning area from Southeast Texas
over the next several hours. The soils are saturated, and this
additional rainfall will run off. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

measured across Northwest Angelina County, where roads are flooded
and closed. Flash flooding is already occurring.

FOR ANGELINA, NACOGDOCHES AND SOUTHEASTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES...
At 635 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2
and 4 inches of rain have fallen since Tuesday night, which has
resulted in some flooded roads and at least one road closure in
Northwest Angelina County. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Doppler radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Diboll, Hudson, Huntington, Garrison, Wells,
Woden, Melrose, Pollok, Etoile, Martinsville, Douglass, Trawick,
Sacul, Burke, Zavalla, Cushing, Appleby and Chireno.
While the rain is tapering off across the warned area, additional
