* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this morning to a crest of 40.5 feet this evening. It will then
fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
* Impact...At 40.5 feet, flood waters begin to impact low areas on
Happy Hollow Road, Maple Road and 2nd Street north and west of
downtown Fort Scott.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 40.5
