  North Central Polk County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 1145 PM CDT Saturday.

* At 441 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across central and northern Polk County. Between 1 and 
  3 inches of rain have fallen in the Piper Creek, Abels Branch, 
  Pomme De Terre River, and Dry Fork basins. Additional rainfall 
  amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL POLK COUNTY...

At 457 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have 
fallen inside the city of Bolivar, along with the Piper Creek, Miles 
Branch, Pomme De Terre, Dry Fork, and Abels Branch basins. 
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly, 
particularly in the city of Bolivar.

EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL POLK COUNTY...

At 937 PM CDT, Emergency Management reported flooding across the 
warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen over the 
Bolivar area, including the Piper Creek, Mile Branch, Town Branch, 
Pomme De Terre, and Abels Branch basins. The rain has ended, 
however, residual flooding will continue.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
