...The National Weather Service in Seattle WA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Washington...
Chehalis River Above Doty affecting Lewis County.
.Heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding at the Chehalis River
above Doty early this morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the Chehalis River Above Doty.
* From early this morning to this afternoon.
* At 11:30 PM PST Saturday the stage was 317.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 318.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early this
morning to 319.0 feet early this morning. It will then fall below
flood stage this morning to 312.9 feet and begin rising again late
tonight. It will rise to 314.8 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will
then fall again and remain below flood stage.
* Impact...At 318.0 feet, flood waters of the upper Chehalis and
South Fork Chehalis will inundate many roads and some residential
and commercial areas. Impacted roadways and surrounding areas
include Curtis Hill...Lake Creek...Moon Hill...Wildwood Roads in
the Boisfort Valley and Labri Rd. and Front St. below Doty. A
stage of 13 feet on the Chehalis near Doty corresponds to just
below Phase 2 in the Lewis County flood system.
