...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of 
northeastern Alleghany and northwestern Surry Counties in
northwestern North Carolina, southern Carroll and southeastern
Grayson Counties in southwestern Virginia and the City of Galax
through 615 PM EDT...

At 538 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Galax to Glade Valley. Movement was east
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.
