Yadkin County in northwestern North Carolina...
* Until 445 PM EDT.
* At 152 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
very heavy rain in Booneville, East Bend and Siloam. Between 1 and
2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

AFTERNOON FOR YADKIN COUNTY...
At 257 PM EDT, Rainfall has decreased in intensity across Yadkin
County. However, between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain has fallen in
parts of Yarkin county including areas such as East Bend and
Yadkinville. Flash flooding remains a threat especially across the
eastern part of the county.
HAZARD...Flash flooding resulting from excessive rainfall from
thunderstorms during the past couple of hours.
