* At 544 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

EVENING FOR NORTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY AND WEST CENTRAL ROANOKE 
COUNTIES AND THE NORTHWESTERN CITY OF SALEM...

At 651 PM EDT, Radar estimates and rain gauges indicated heavy rain 
across parts of the warned area with between 2.5 and 3.5 inches fell 
between about 5 and 6 PM. Flash flooding is likely to be ongoing in 
parts of the area due to continued runoff.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
