MORNING FOR SOUTHERN GALLIA, CENTRAL LAWRENCE, NORTH CENTRAL CABELL
AND SOUTHERN MASON COUNTIES...
At 323 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a break in the heavy rainfall
across the warned area, but additional thunderstorms producing heavy
rain moving toward the region from Kentucky. Between 1.5 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1
inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
