heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

AFTERNOON FOR NORTH CENTRAL BUCHANAN, SOUTH CENTRAL LOGAN,
NORTHWESTERN MCDOWELL, SOUTHEASTERN MINGO AND WEST CENTRAL WYOMING
COUNTIES...
At 1056 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
Flash flooding has been reported along Gilbert Creek, and near the
towns of Hanover, WV and Hurley, VA. Many area roadways are flooded
including Gilbert Creek Tunnel Road.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
