...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST MONDAY FOR 
LAWRENCE AND WAYNE COUNTIES...

At 1152 PM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
that moderate rain was falling across the warned area. Between 3 and 
4 inches of rain have fallen. Rainfall rates are beginning to 
decrease with additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches possible 
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

  Dunlow, Ulysses, Charley, East Lynn Lake, Kiahsville, Martha,

  Wilsondale and Houckville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are 
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded 
roads. Find an alternate route.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 1 AM EST EARLY THIS MORNING 
FOR LAWRENCE AND WAYNE COUNTIES...

The heavy rain has ended. Light rain will continue through daybreak 
with additional accumulations of between 0.25 inches and 0.50 inches 
expected. A flood warning remains in effect through 5 AM EST.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 700 AM EST Monday for portions 
of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, southwest Virginia and West 
Virginia.
