...Showers and thunderstorms will impact portions of Wayne, southern
Nash, southwestern Edgecombe, Wilson and eastern Johnston Counties
through 730 AM EDT...
At 634 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking and area of showers and
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of
Bailey to 14 miles northwest of Goldsboro to near Fremont. Movement
was northeast at 20 mph. Quarter inch to and inch has fallen across
portions of Johnston and Wayne counties, with up to another half inch
to an inch possible.
HAZARD...Winds up to 30 mph, and heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
