Monongahela River Near Elizabeth affecting Allegheny, Washington
and Westmoreland Counties.
Conemaugh River At Seward affecting Indiana and Westmoreland
Counties.
Youghiogheny River At Connellsville affecting Fayette County.
Youghiogheny River At Sutersville affecting Allegheny and
Westmoreland Counties.
.Heavy rainfall associated with the passage of the remnants of
tropical system Ida will cause these locations to rise above flood
stage.

* At 10:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 8.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
afternoon to a crest of 20.1 feet just after midnight tonight. It
will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 9.9 feet, Water reaches the level reached on March 5,
2015.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet, Route 56 below Power Plant Road is flooded.
* Impact...At 12.1 feet, Water reaches the level reached during
Hurricane Ivan September 18, 2004.

* From this evening to early Friday morning.
* At 10:15 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 3.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this evening to a crest of 15.8 feet tomorrow morning. It will
then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet, Flooding begins in the vicinity of Yough
Park.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet, Several inches of water floods basements of
about 30 homes along left bank. River is bankful along the left
bank just downstream from the Crawford Street Bridge. Water
reaches the level of the Hurricane Ivan flood of September 18,
2004.
* Impact...At 14.1 feet, Water reaches level of March 3, 2015.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, About 100 homes on the west side of
Connellsville flood in the areas of Fifth, Sixth and Seventh
Streets.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Water reaches homes in the towns Adelaide
and Dawson, downstream of Connelsville.

It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening.

Sutersville begins in homes along the right bank. Flooding also
begins in the West Newton business district 5 miles upstream.
