  Southern Massac County in southern Illinois...
  South central Pope County in southern Illinois...
  Northern McCracken County in western Kentucky...
  Northeastern Ballard County in western Kentucky...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 606 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near La Center,
  moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Public.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Paducah, Metropolis, La Center, Brookport, West Paducah, Kevil,
  Joppa and Olmsted, and Fort Massac State Park.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However gusty winds and
heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

western Kentucky.
