GIRARDEAU COUNTIES...
At 244 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Alliance, or 7
miles southwest of Perryville, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. Around 230 pm, trees were snapped
and a garage roof was damaged in the Fredericktown area.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Altenburg, Alliance, Longtown, Old Appleton and Silver Lake.
