Jul 11, 3:00 AM CDT	FLASH FLOOD	Marion, KY	LATE REPORT. SEVERAL ROADS WERE CLOSED DUE TO WATER OVER THEM IN CRITTENDEN COUNTY. THIS INCLUDED KY 855 NORTH OF FRANCES BETWEEN KY 70 AND U.S. 60. ALSO, KY 902 WAS CLOSED NEAR THE CRITTENDEN-CALDWELL COUNTY LINE.
Jul 11, 3:00 AM CDT	FLASH FLOOD	Salem, KY	LATE REPORT. SEVERAL ROADS CLOSED DUE TO WATER OVER THEM THROUGHOUT LIVINGSTON COUNTY. THIS INCLUDED U.S. 60 ON THE EAST EDGE OF SALEM BETWEEN KY 133 AND LOLA ROAD. U.S. 60 WAS ALSO CLOSED NEAR KY 137 BETWEEN SMITHLAND AND BURNA.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 AM CDT EARLY THIS 
MORNING FOR NORTHWESTERN ALEXANDER, HARDIN, JOHNSON, MASSAC, POPE, 
NORTHERN PULASKI, UNION, CRITTENDEN, LIVINGSTON, BOLLINGER AND CAPE 
GIRARDEAU COUNTIES...

At 201 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have 
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the 
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Metropolis, Scott City, Anna, Marion, 
  Jonesboro, Marble Hill, Vienna, Trail Of Tears State Park, 
  Bollinger Mill State Historic Site, Rosiclare, Cobden, Goreville, 
  Salem, Dongola, Golconda, Karnak, Delta and Gordonville.

At 130 am Sunday morning, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reported 
that parts of Kentucky Highways 855 and 902 were closed in 
Crittenden County due to flooding.  In Livingston County Kentucky, 
the County Highway Maintenance crews reported water over highways at 
numerous locations across that county.  In Livingston County, some 
parts of U.S. Highway 60 were closed.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
