* At 1053 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain from Carmi to Shawneetown to Karbers Ridge. Between 2
and 3 inches of rain has fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

GALLATIN, HARDIN, SOUTHWESTERN UNION AND NORTHWESTERN CRITTENDEN
COUNTIES...
At 1147 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain from Karbers Ridge to Rosiclare. Between 2 and 3 inches
of rain has fallen, especially in Gallatin County between New Haven
and Shawneetown. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Doppler radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Shawneetown, Rosiclare, Ridgway, Equality, Cave-in-Rock,
Elizabethtown, Omaha, Old Shawneetown, Junction, Karbers Ridge and
Gross.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned
area, mainly south of Shawneetown.

MORNING FOR CENTRAL GALLATIN AND WEST CENTRAL UNION COUNTIES...
At 100 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that thunderstorms had come
to an end in the warned area. Radar estimates that between 2 and 4
inches of rain fell earlier in the evening. Runoff from this rain
may still pose a flash flood threat.
