PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* At 1:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 20.1 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river will continue to rise into this evening, 
  potentially reaching 21 to 22 feet and then begin falling 
  overnight.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Portions of Vales Mill Rd between Chicken 
  Creek Rd and the Highway 64 bypass become inundated and may be 
  subject to closure
