...A THUNDERSTORM WITH GUSTY WINDS, SMALL HAIL, AND HEAVY RAIN WILL
AFFECT CENTRAL HENNEPIN COUNTY...
At 100 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Wayzata, or 13
miles west of Minneapolis, moving east at 20 mph.
Winds in excess of 45 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Minneapolis, St. Paul, Brooklyn Park, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Coon
Rapids, Minnetonka, Edina, St. Louis Park, Brooklyn Center, Fridley
and Golden Valley.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
