NORTHWESTERN SHERBURNE...EASTERN STEARNS AND SOUTHEASTERN MORRISON COUNTIES... At 656 PM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles northeast of Rice to 5 miles north of Annandale. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms. Locations impacted include... St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Waite Park, Becker, Foley, Clearwater, Clear Lake, Rice, Granite Ledge, Morrill, Gilman and Little Rock. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
