...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL AFFECT 
WRIGHT...NORTHWESTERN HENNEPIN AND SOUTHEASTERN SHERBURNE COUNTIES...

At 554 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Maple Lake, or
7 miles west of Buffalo, moving east at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Buffalo, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Ramsey, Elk River, St. Michael,
Otsego, Monticello, Big Lake, Rogers, Albertville and Corcoran.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
