...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL AFFECT EAST 
CENTRAL CHISAGO AND CENTRAL POLK COUNTIES...

At 551 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles north of
Center City, or 20 miles east of Cambridge, moving east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
St. Croix Falls, Luck, Balsam Lake, Taylors Falls, Centuria,
Milltown, Mckinley, Wild River State Park, Range, Joel, Wolf Creek
and Cushing.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
