...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES...NORTHWESTERN MOBILE...EASTERN GEORGE AND SOUTHEASTERN
GREENE COUNTIES UNTIL 1230 PM CDT...
At 1149 AM CDT, the strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles northwest of Wade to Hurley to Helena, and
moving northeast at 35 mph.
Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Lucedale, Semmes, Tanner Williams, Mobile Regional Airport and
Wilmer.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
