...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN CRENSHAW AND COVINGTON COUNTIES...
At 624 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Dozier, or 14
miles north of Opp, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Half dollar size hail and 70 mph wind gusts with storms
currently in southern Crenshaw and northern Covington
counties. Another severe storm with golfball size hail will
move into west central Covington county in the next several
minutes. These are dangerous storms with a history of
golfball size hail and wind damage.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
