...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Mobile has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include Portions of Alabama, including the 
  following areas, Baldwin Central, Baldwin Coastal, Baldwin Inland, 
  Covington, Escambia, Mobile Central, Mobile Coastal and Mobile 
  Inland. Portions of southeast Mississippi, including the following 
  areas, George and Stone.

* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.

* Showers and storms with heavy rainfall are expected to move across 
  the watch area through the rest of tonight and into early this 
  afternoon.  Where storms repeatedly move across the same area will 
  result in an increased potential for flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action 
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

* Portions of Alabama and southeast Mississippi, including the 
  following areas, in Alabama, Baldwin Central, Baldwin Coastal, 
  Baldwin Inland, Butler, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Covington, 
  Crenshaw, Escambia, Mobile Central, Mobile Coastal, Mobile 
  Inland, Monroe, Washington, and Wilcox. In southeast 
  Mississippi, George, Greene, Perry, Stone, and Wayne. 

* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon

* Some additional scattered showers and storms with heavy rainfall
  are expected to develop and move across the watch area through
  late this morning and into the early afternoon hours. Where
  storms repeatedly move across the same area with already
  saturaged ground from earlier rain, this will result in a
  continued potential for flooding.
