THE PENSACOLA POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTED THAT MULTIPLE ROADS WERE CLOSED IN DOWNTOWN PENSACOLA DUE TO FLASH FLOODING, INCLUDING PORTIONS OF MAIN, PALAFOX, GARDEN, CERVANTES, AND GOVERNMENT STREETS.

* Until 545 AM CDT Tuesday.

* At 1137 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a band of slow moving 
  showers and thunderstorms producing very heavy rain across the 
  warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have quickly fallen 
  over areas that remain saturated from torrential rainfall that 
  fell earlier this morning. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

MORNING FOR SOUTHERN BALDWIN, SOUTH CENTRAL ESCAMBIA AND CENTRAL 
SANTA ROSA COUNTIES...

At 1237 AM CDT, Doppler radar continued to indicate a band of slow 
moving showers and thunderstorms producing very heavy rain across 
the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain with locally higher 
amounts have quickly fallen in some areas. Heavy rains have fallen 
over grounds that remain saturated from torrential rainfall that 
fell earlier Monday morning.

At 1220 AM CDT, the public reported flash flooding on Danne Road in 
Fairhope.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

At 128 AM CDT, Doppler radar continued to indicate bands of slow 
moving showers and thunderstorms producing very heavy rain across 
the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain with locally higher 
amounts have quickly fallen in some areas.

At 100 AM CDT, the Pensacola Police Department reported that 
multiple roads were closed in Downtown Pensacola due to flash 
flooding, including portions of Main, Palafox, Garden, Cervantes, 
and Government.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.
