* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Wilcox County in south central Alabama...
* Until 700 PM CDT.
* At 147 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen
between Millers Ferry and Camden within the last hour. Additional
rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area
in the next hour or two. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING
FOR SOUTHWESTERN WILCOX COUNTY...
At 311 PM CDT, Wilcox County Emergency Management reported flooding
on the north side of Camden with Kennedy Street closed. Between 2
and 4 inches of rain have already fallen. While the heavy rain has
diminished over the past half hour, it is possible additional heavy
rain may move in from the west over the next hour or two. This
additional heavy rain combined with ongoing runoff could result in
additional flash flooding.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
