Southwestern Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...
* Until 1245 PM CDT.
* At 645 AM CDT, Gauge reports indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHWESTERN BALDWIN COUNTY...
At 845 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported roads closed in the
Fairhope area due to flash flooding. Rain gauge reports indicate
that between 3 to 6 inches of rain have fallen in the Fairhope and
Point Clear areas. While the heavy rain has come to an end for the
time being, creeks and streams are still rising. We will also
continue to monitor for the potential redevelopment of heavy rain
through the rest of the morning.
