Southeastern Okaloosa County in northwestern Florida...
* Until 1115 AM CDT.
* At 518 AM CDT, Gauge reports indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 AM CDT THIS
MORNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN OKALOOSA COUNTY...
At 840 AM CDT, emergency management reported roads closed in the
Destin area due to flooding, including a portion of Highway 98 near
Crystal Beach Dr. Rain gauge reports indicate between 3 and 6
inches of rain have fallen from Destin to the Seminole area.
Additional heavy rain is moving in from the west which will likely
prolong current flooding and result in additional flash flooding
across the warned area.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
