The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Stone County in southeastern Mississippi...
* Until 745 AM CDT.
* At 151 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated bands of showers and
thunderstorms producing torrential rainfall across much of Stone
county. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain is estimated to have fallen
over the past few hours and additional bands of torrential
rainfall will continue to train over the warned area during the
overnight hours. Additional rainfall amounts of at least 3 to 5
inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
