The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northern Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...

* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 336 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
  tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located over
  Miami International Airport, or near Hialeah, moving north at 30
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to mobile homes, roofs, and vehicles. Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Miami, Hialeah, Coral Gables, Miami Gardens and Doral. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors or in a vehicle,
move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from
flying debris.

400 PM EDT...
    
The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been 
cancelled. However, damaging winds remain likely and a Severe 
Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.  Heavy rain 
is also still possible.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Miami.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
Eastern Miami-Dade County until 400 PM EDT.
