The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  West central Brewster County in southwestern Texas...
  East central Presidio County in southwestern Texas...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 624 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 26 miles northeast
  of Big Bend Ranch State Park, moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  west central Brewster and east central Presidio Counties.

FOR WEST CENTRAL BREWSTER AND EAST CENTRAL PRESIDIO COUNTIES...

At 640 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 20 miles north of
Terlingua, or 24 miles north of Lajitas, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of west
central Brewster and east central Presidio Counties.

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
