South Central Scott County in western Arkansas...
* Until 710 AM CDT.
* At 412 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

MORNING FOR NORTHEASTERN POLK AND SOUTH CENTRAL SCOTT COUNTIES...
At 458 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that heavy rain was falling across the warned area. Between 3 to 4
inches of rain have already fallen over southern central Scott
county and northern central Polk county, and flash flooding is
likely ongoing.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
