At 811 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles northeast of Abernathy to 6 miles north of
Seagraves Airport, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 8 PM a 73 mph wind gust was measured by
the Levelland West Texas Mesonet located 4 miles
south of town.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
