Northeastern Hancock County in southern Mississippi...
Southeastern Pearl River County in southern Mississippi...
* Until 245 PM CDT.
* At 215 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles northeast of Kiln, or 7 miles north of
Diamondhead, moving northwest at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
west central Harrison, northeastern Hancock and southeastern Pearl
River Counties.

was located 8 miles north of Kiln, or 11 miles north of Diamondhead,
moving northwest at 35 mph.
