* Until 1100 AM CDT.
    
* At 1001 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near Empire, or 13 miles southeast of Port
  Sulphur, moving north at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

At 1017 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Empire, or 9 miles southeast of Port Sulphur, moving
north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.
