The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Plaquemines Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 1000 AM CDT.

* At 923 AM CDT, a confirmed waterspout was located just offshore 7
  miles southwest of Buras, or 19 miles southeast of Port Sulphur,
  moving north at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed waterspout moving onshore.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.
