* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 909 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Shell Beach to 12 miles southeast of Poydras, moving
  northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM CDT
FOR CENTRAL ST. BERNARD PARISH...

At 931 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 15 miles southeast of Lake Catherine to 9 miles east
of Shell Beach, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
central St. Bernard Parish.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If on or near waterways or bayous, get away from the water and move 
indoors or inside a vehicle. 

Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent 
thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be 
struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not be caught on 
the water in a thunderstorm.
