* At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 AM CDT Thursday was 17.8 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.0 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
Saturday evening.
* Impact...At 19.8 feet, IT IS ESTIMATED THAT 18 STRUCTURES NEAR THE
BAYOU WILL BE FLOODED.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Atchafalaya River At Morgan City.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 6.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 AM CDT Thursday was 6.7 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 6.0 feet Tuesday
morning.
* Impact...At 7.0 feet, Buildings at the foot of Ann Street on the
river side of the flood wall will flood as water overtops the Rio
Oil Company dock. Buildings on the river side of the Berwick
floodwall will flood. River traffic restrictions will be strictly
enforced. In addition, backwater flooding could potentially impact
portions areas around Lake Palourde and Stephensville.
