  East central Cherry County in north central Nebraska...
  West central Brown County in north central Nebraska...

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 1242 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles east of
  Valentine National Wildlife Refuge, or 24 miles west of Ainsworth,
  moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

FOR EAST CENTRAL CHERRY AND WEST CENTRAL BROWN COUNTIES...

At 1258 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles west of
Johnstown, or 20 miles west of Ainsworth, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

CENTRAL BROWN COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 130 AM CDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However small hail
and gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
