* Until further notice.
* At 7:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 35.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.5 feet
early Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 37.5 feet, Access roads to the river front area off of
old highway 80 road near the bridge begin to flood.

Big Black River At West affecting Holmes and Attala Counties.
Big Black River Near Bentonia affecting Madison and Yazoo
Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Forecast includes rainfall on the ground and 24 hours of additional
rainfall.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
