Yockanookany River Near Kosciusko affecting Attala County.
Pearl River Above Philadelphia affecting Neshoba County.
Pearl River Near Carthage affecting Leake County.
Yockanookany River Near Ofahoma affecting Leake County.
...Synopsis
Rainfall across the Upper Pearl will range from 6 to 8 inches with
some higher amounts in excess of 10 inches. With drier soils than
our usual flood season, rainfall amounts should produce minor to
possibly moderate flooding on the Pearl River. Heaviest rainfall
amounts will not reach the Pearl River until tomorrow morning and
lasting for around 18 hours.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Forecast includes rainfall on the ground and 24 hours of additional
rainfall.
