The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Clarke County in east central Mississippi...
  Lauderdale County in east central Mississippi...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 501 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by training rain bands from
           Tropical Depression Ida.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING 
FOR CLARKE AND LAUDERDALE COUNTIES...

At 654 PM CDT, Heavy rain bands have begun to move out of the warned 
area. Water in a few homes were reported in Meridian due to the 
heavier rain. Another inch of rain could be possible mainly over the 
next hour.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
