EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR SOUTHERN LAUDERDALE
COUNTY...
At 832 PM CDT, Emergency mananagment has reported a breach of a dam
above lower Bonita Lake causing flash flooding. Bonita Lakes dams
did not fail.
HAZARD...Flash flooding from the failure of a pond above Bonita
Lakes.
SOURCE...Emergency Manager
IMPACT...Water flowed into Lower Bonita Lake and was crossing
Highway 19. Reports are coming in that water has receded
over Highway 19, but there could still be areas of high
water below lower Bonita Lake.
