* Until early Wednesday morning.
* At 8:45 AM EDT Monday the stage was 12.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.0 feet 
  this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight.
* Impact...At 15.5 feet, Hudson Park is inaccessible from S. Wayne 
  Street. The Portland Water Park is flooded. Flood waters have 
  reached East Elementary School. Homes along E. Water Street/Hwy 26 
  between Pierce Street and S 300E are flooded. Water covers S. 
  Wayne Street between Water Street and the Wayne Street bridge. 
  Businesses between Water Street and the river from Middle Street 
  to Hayes Street are flooded. The storm drainage system for 
  downtown Portland is starting to become overcharged as the river 
  backfills the system.
