...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a 
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...

  Youngs Creek at Amity.

  Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.

.Rain of 1 to 1.5 inches Friday night into early Saturday has led to 
rapid rises along area rivers and streams.  Flooding along Youngs 
Creek and the Mississinewa River are expected to be brief with 
flooding ending by Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Youngs Creek at Amity.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Youngs Creek at flood stage.  Most low 
  areas along creek are flooded.   Approaches to CR 400S bridge over 
  Youngs Creek begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:15 PM EST Saturday the stage was 7.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.3
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just
    after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.

TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding along CR 100 
  W just north of the river.  High water affecting a small portion 
  of River Road just east of SR 1 and north of the river.  Water is 
  within a few feet vertically of the approaches to SR 1 bridge in 
  western Randolph county.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 PM EST Saturday the stage was 9.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon to a crest of 10.7 feet this evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage this evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
