...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a 
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...

  Youngs Creek at Amity.

  Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.

.Rain of 1 to 1.5 inches Friday night into early Saturday has led to 
rapid rises along area rivers and streams.  Flooding along Youngs 
Creek and the Mississinewa River are expected to be brief with 
flooding ending by Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.3

TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississinewa River near Ridgeville.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding along CR 100 
  W just north of the river.  High water affecting a small portion 
  of River Road just east of SR 1 and north of the river.  Water is 
  within a few feet vertically of the approaches to SR 1 bridge in 
  western Randolph county.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 PM EST Saturday the stage was 9.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon to a crest of 10.7 feet this evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage this evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

  Youngs Creek at Amity.

  East Fork White River at Seymour.

  White River at Edwardsport.

.Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches from Friday night into Saturday caused 
minor flooding to develop along portions of the White River and the 
East Fork White River in southern parts of central Indiana. Flooding 
may persist into Christmas Eve for portions of the White River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

  900W...CR 700W and CR 775W.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM EST Saturday /6:30 PM CST Saturday/ the stage was
    14.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late tonight
    to 18.3 feet Monday morning. It will then fall to 17.9 feet
    and begin rising again early Tuesday afternoon. It will rise
    to 18.5 feet Wednesday evening. It will then fall below flood

  - Forecast...The river will fall to 15.2 feet and then begin
    rising tomorrow morning. It will then rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening to 18.1 feet early Tuesday morning. It will

    will then rise again to 18.1 feet Thursday evening. It will
    fall below flood stage Saturday morning.

  several County and State Roads begin to flood.  High water 
  isolates a few river cabins.  State Road 235 east of Medora and 
  county roads near Shields and Vallonia flood.  Roads that begin to 
  flood include 258 east of Cortland...County Road 725 N just north 
  of the gaging site and Ewing Road near Brownstown.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM EST Saturday the stage was 12.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM EST Saturday was 12.3 feet.

  property of river cabins begins to flood.

  - At 7:00 PM EST Saturday /6:00 PM CST Saturday/ the stage was
    13.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late
    tomorrow morning to 15.4 feet early Monday morning. It will
    then fall to 15.3 feet and begin rising again Monday morning.
    It will rise to 17.0 feet early Wednesday morning. It will
    then fall below flood stage late Thursday morning.
